About Merle

I am a licensed psychotherapist currently in private practice in Oakland, California. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFC 32346

I bring a broad history of experience to my work, from my days in a fortune 500 company to being a business consultant and small business owner, I understand the dilemmas of the self employed as well as the conflicts inherent in working in a large organization.

I have published five books that can all be found on this site, three on management, one on relationship and the last for men with breasts. Recently, I have turned increasingly to writing for my website as a faster and easier means of reaching a wider audience. I frequently get emails from people telling me that the subjects that I write about are helpful to them.

I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelors in Management.

My goal is to both understand the pain or discomfort of my client and to help guide them to a new understanding and or freedom from that perspective that will allow them the opportunity to enjoy life and have an easier time in the world.
